It works great but the plug for the Christmas blowup decorations do not fit, so wider plugs won't work since the plastic cover has a raised hinge. Otherwise it works great.

The side door gets in the way of bigger plugs. My blow ups have normal plugs but larger outer areas. The will not seat all the way down, still work though. Installation is as simple as twisting two ends together and putting a stake in the ground. Quality seems pretty solid, definitely not a cheap or flimsy outlet.

If you purchase this product to provide electricity to objects that have a normal plug, then this will work great. If, however, you purchase this for holiday decor, such as blow-ups, you will have to make some modifications to use efficiently. All of the blow-ups and halloween decor/lights we bought, have a rectangular box plug that would NOT plug in to these outlets due to the clear covers/spring etc. My husband took the metal bar (that holds the clear covers in place) out and used sharp wire/metal/plastic cutters to trim down the other material until we were able to plug in the decorations. As far as quality, these are great.
