I was rather disappointed when the fan on our 1 1/2 year pool heat pump stopped functioning. I had a feeling the problem would have been the start capacitor and knew it would have been an inexpensive fix if that was in fact the culprit. After spending less than 8 minutes to undo the lid and replace the part, the fan instantly turned on after I put on the breaker.I could just imagine what this would have costed with a pool tech.

Installed the item 3 weeks ago, it’s still working fine, I will have a better opinion at the end of summer

This was the perfect size and capacity for my Carrier Infinity 5 ton AC unit. The Carrier Infinity display was showing a thermal shutdown in the High Stage. The unit would run for 30 minutes and then stop. A few hours later it might turn on again. I could often let it cool for 30 minutes and then flip the breakers and cause it to come back on again. I limped like this for 24 hours until this capacitor arrived. It was an easy repair. The old capacitor tested bad with my multimeter and it was also visibly swollen and the top was rusted.
