I was expecting selenite that was white. What I got was mostly grey and was not perfectly round. I had planned to put it on a light stand, but the selenite I got is so "dirty" looking, the light does nothing. Not really sure that it's real selenite.

Firstly, it's a gorgeous piece of selenite. Luminous, well polished, very few chips (which is amazing for selenite since it's so soft). It has natural occlusion and is very much a natural stone.But- I took two stars off because I ordered the 4 inch orb- and this is clearly NOT four inches. My pic show it next to a 4 inch optical orb, which is exactly 4 inches. I'm guessing this one is 2.7-3 inches at best. Very disappointed. While it is a beautiful stone, it is not the show piece I required.

It does the job just fine,, however,, I didnt like using it. I prefer to use a stiff wire cup brush, I feel like I have more control and don't dig in as fast or deep. If this is what you are used to using it is a nice quality tool and I'd say go for it.
