Sturdy and removes bone dust. Maybe not noticeable but makes a difference.

Works well, easy to clean. Do not put in dishwasher as handle is aluminum and will oxidize in a dish-washing cycle.

I'm a meat cutters for 20 odd years and usually use a plastic bone duster. Saw these online and thought, might be better being made of metal. Wrong 1/2 broke first use I mean first use. Second one is still working, but they just don't work as well as the plastic. I would suggest thicker metal or stiffer. It just didn't do the job fast enough. Maybe they are not for industrial jobs rather for home use.

I work in the meat department at a grocery chain. I've always used the plastic meat scrappers and thought I would buy this and give it a go at my shop and I was very disappointed. The cheaper plastic ones are way more efficient. These take the bone dust off pretty well, but they also cut into the fat at the same time and just add more residue to the steak. You actually have to go around the fat when scrapping with this metal one whereas with the plastic ones you can just scrap away without worrying about coming in contact with the fat. The bone dust also sticks to the scrapper like glue and is hard to beat off(ehem) compared to the plastic ones. This might be okay for a home chef scrapping a steak or two every once in a blue moon, but if you're scrapping hundreds of steaks a day this is not the scrapper for you! Oh, and it also broke after two days.
