The shoe bags are much larger than I expected. I wear a size 7 woman's shoe, and I could fit both in one bag if I wanted to. I did, however, only put one shoe in each bag as I thought that they would be cleaner after washing. My shoes came out pretty clean. I did have some stains that were only lightened, but I kind of expected that. Overall, I would purchase again. They worked as intended.

These bags are very roomy. I can put one large boot or two medium tennis shoes in one bag. I washed a pair and it seemed to do a good job. The zippers didn't have any issues. I think the price is a little high compared to others but I do see that the quality seems a little better than the cheaper ones I ordered. As to whether or not they'll last longer, I won't know until I use them frequently enough.

I ordered these because I wear some expensive sneakers for walking every day, and until now I have been afraid to wash them in the washing machine--I've just used a wet cloth and dishwashing soap to clean them, as they are more expensive than the plain old tennis shoes and not recommended for machine wash. I was careful to remove the linings of each shoe which were not fastened to the shoe. Each one of these yellow bags held ONE PAIR of shoes--I wear size 10--and I placed the shoes in side by side with the rubber soles together and the shoetops facing into the lining of the bag, and I washed them in a medium load of jeans and t-shirts with warm water and Tide detergent. I am including photos of how they looked after the first wash--a little cleaner but still dirty. So I got really brave and put them in with the white clothing in hot water and added oxyclean. This time they came out MUCH cleaner, and the shoes do not appear any the worse for wear. I posted photos of the shoes before washing, after first wash in warm, and after final wash in hot water. My dryer has a rack that allows me to dry shoes without tumbling, so that's what I did. From now on I'll just wash the shoes in the hot water and oxyclean to begin with, unless the once-in-a-while washings appear to cause any later wear-and-tear on the shoes. These little bags seem like they will be pretty useful---I'm also planning to use them to wash other things that need to be contained in the washer, like soiled dog leashes, etc.

I’ve always been the type to just toss my sneakers into the washing machine, no matter the material. I’ve had leather and fabric on shoes rip or get damaged. This wash pod does a good job of keeping my sneakers intact while still getting them perfectly clean. The design of the pod ensures that the shoes stay protected throughout the wash, preventing any damage to the leather or fabric. I’ve noticed that my shoes come out looking just as fresh as they would from a regular wash, but with much less risk of ruining them.

I was a little skeptical, but these shoe bags are terrific. They are large enough to hold a pair of running shoes (women's US 11). The mesh ends allow water to circulate freely and the microfiber fingers inside do the job of scrubbing. The laces can be left on the shoes without tangling around other items in the wash. I wouldn't try washing shoes caked with dried mud and expect a perfect wash. Bang that mud off and then wash, like any normal person would. Bottom line: Running shoes that I wear for yard work: clean and much improved. Running shoes that I wear to work in the hospital: very clean with like-new uppers. Slippers with fabric upper and faux-sheepskin lining: like-new. I think these shoe bags are useful product.
