One sometimes worries (often with good cause) about purchasing the least expensive of anything. In this case, it seems our worries were unfounded. This pump is incredibly easy to use, and pumps out water at an impressive rate. It saved us from the early 2023 SoCal downpours, but we'll have to wait until next year's monsoon season to evaluate the longevity of the machine.

This pump is good however a standard garden hose will not attach to it because the outlet is not the same thread as a garden hose. They look almost the same but no-go. Unfortunately I didn’t figure this out until I got the thing to my small island in the Bahamas so I will need to have one of my visitors bring an adapter.

I thought this was a great pump when it work but after only using this items two times, that's two times, it stopped working. It was very upsetting to me because a storm was coming and I thought I was prepared with this pump but when I plugged it in to avoid a flood of water coming into my home, It didn't work. Not very reliable and for the price I paid you would think it might have worked longer. Very disappointed. I lost my money and after 10 months of course there's no refund.

I bought this pump to do a annual tankless water heater flush with vinegar. I hooked up all the hoses and vinegar went spewing out of the plastic adapter making a huge mess. The reason this is so cheap is that it has a factory defect. If you read other reviews, you will see that all of the plastic hose adapters are manufactured too small so it won't hold a standard hose. I ended up having to wrap some electrical tape on the hose threads to make a tighter fit.

I think everyone who keeps an aquarium knows a pump helps so much with water changes. I have always used a small pump that took a while but I'm getting ready to upgrade to a much larger tank.This pump is very large compared to an aquarium pump, so keep that in mind before buying. But boy it is powerful, it drained my 150 aquarium by half in only a few minutes
