Qidi X-Max 3, I had moved from the standard 0.4 to Qidi's 0.6 hardened and though it was okay, I didn't love the results. So I picked this up in a 0.4 size and using the same settings as I had for the standard 0.4 that ships with the machine, this thing prints beautifully. Have printed one of the Orca calibration cubes (the kind with the screw-in bottom to test tolerances and though the first twist did require a pair of pliers (I couldn't grip the twist part well enough with my fingers to get any leverage on the tight fit) after putting it in and out twice, it moves freely by hand now. I've literally had no complaints about this nozzle and as long as it lasts a decently long time, it's a great value and definitely worth swapping to if you print anything abrasive.

Honestly was kind of skeptical about buying this only because it was a bit on the pricey side for one nozzle but I had some glow in the dark and wood filament I needed to run and only had brass available for my printer. Turns out it wasn't such a bad replacement. Nozzle holes were perfectly bored and was an exact drop in replacement for my X-Smart 3. Nice thing is I can even continue printing my normal PLA with no changes to what I normally print with temperature wise. Kind of weird how it works, but it just does and this nozzle has been in use for 4 months since buying and not a single change in print quality. Not saying it's gonna make your prints any better, but the X-Smart 3 already does a phenomenal job of printing so there's no change in quality between this ruby nozzle and the brass ones Qidi sell. Honestly, if this nozzle lasts a really long time, I can't complain seeing as I can get the best of all worlds, printing normal PLA, wood filament, and glow in the dark with no signs of wear yet and don't have to worry about constantly swapping nozzles between filament types. You won't be disappointed!

If you print a lot of white or other abrasive specialty filaments, this is a great nozzle. I have used hardened steel for about 6 months and had mixed results. I had to raise print head temp by 5 degrees on every filament and 10 degrees on some of the specialty ones. This works good and holds temperature much better than the hardened steel that I used previously. Time will tell how long this lasts, but I have a friend that uses this same nozzle and they have had it for over a year and they print almost exclusively white. It will hopefully be one of the last printer nozzles I buy.

I recently got a Kobra 2 Max, which comes with a standard 0.4 mm brass nozzle. I solved the dreaded "AnyCubic Hang Issue" on the K2M with a firmware update, and it's been a lot of fun.The Kobra 2 series has a redesigned nozzle, with the back lathed down a bit. Standard nozzles will not fit. These things are the first hardened nozzles I've seen of the Kobra 2 series, and they are great! People are also saying "0.6 is the new 0.4," because you can get close to the same resolution if you want, but also faster prints if you want, and fewer clogs in general. They are easy to install with a socket wrench, but be careful to hold the block that the nozzle is screwed into with pliers, as it will turn. (Straightforward, but you can check videos online, if needed.)A wider also nozzle requires changing the slicer settings, which would up being easier than anticipated. For the 0.6 nozzle, I simply changed:* Nozzle to 0.6 mm (of course)* Layer height to 0.3 mm* Line width to 0.66There is flexibility on line width, but .66 mm is reasonable, and allows me to print 3 layer walls, 2 mm thick.Prints come out fast and clean. (Don't forget to select "Stability" on the Kobra 2, after starting the print, to enable the resonance PID controls ... it's slower, but needed for prints to come out well.)The real reason for the hardened nozzle was the ability to print carbon-fiber PLA, which has been an absolute game changes. CF a jump in quality from the odd-feeling and stringry printing PLA, into something that looks and feels quite nice.Soooo ... get this nozzle! It turns the Kobra 2 (Max), a $500 printer, into an amazing machine, for $25.Worth it!

Got the Neptune 4 0.6 and 0.8 nozzles and currently have the 0.6 installed in my Neptune 4. I ordered this mostly because I was interested in the larger diameter nozzle for faster prints, its working exactly as expected for that. Installation was straightforward and I've run a bunch of prints through the nozzle already. So far I don't have any complaints, assuming the nozzle has genuine ruby it should outlast standard brass nozzles by quite a bit. It will take a while to really notice any improvement as standard nozzles can last quite long depending on how often you print and what filament.I will update my review if I run into any issues but so far it's been really good.Wanted to update, I've used this nozzle to print a full spool of carbon fiber filled PETG, no issues at all. My printer is still going strong and the nozzle is working like new. I've put quite a bit of filament through this so far, I also purchased another nozzle from this company for my Anycubic printer.
