Shiny shorts with blue accent: This is a super lightweight set of shorts, which means there are pros and cons. Pro, the lightweight material is perfect for hot summer and won't make you overheat. Con, the material is so light and thin it almost feels like a jogging material that was just chopped off. I don't know why, but they feel like they hang weird.A big plus for us was the zippers on the pockets, meaning you can keep your phone and wallet without worry about them falling out. Unfortunately, one of the pockets had a hole in them, meaning I had to remove a star for that.Despite their flaws, they are a comfortable and true-to-size pair of shorts. The design is a little boring, but they do the job.About the drawstring shorts: My partner has been wearing these pairs of casual shorts for a little while now, and he finds them extremely comfortable to wear around the house or out on the weekend. They aren’t super thin material so they might be a little too hot to wear on a long day outdoors in the sun, but for the most part they’re light enough to be fine in moderate heat. The pockets both have zippers are are pretty deep for short pockets. Despite not being designed to be bathing shorts, they do dry pretty quickly when wet and they don’t get too heavy either, so they’re good shorts if you plan to be near or in the water without actually doing much swimming.The drawstring on these shorts is a little bit shorter than my partner would prefer, and the plastic tips on the strings are not large enough to prevent them from being pulled inside the waist of the shorts themselves fairly often. Thankfully the plastic tips are big enough to be easy to find and wiggle back out of the hole, but it is annoying for my partner to be forced to do this almost every time he wears them. Once tied, the strings do not become untied accidentally and they fit comfortably.
