The curtains are thin plastic, but they do block the light. I tried to hang the curtains as a full sheet on a triple window, but after a few minutes, the velcro would peel off of the back of the curtain. I will try to cut the curtain into three pieces and see if the reduced weight will work better.

Ok I wasnt expecting a great deal but this is only a thicker ply of plastic. It does block all light from coming in. So far the velcro stickies are working. Not sure how well it will stick when the weather gets bad and condensation starts. The idea of raising this up to make a decorative blind, maybe but not for me. It does come with a fabric ruler, which is nice. ships fast
