Okay first, car seat shopping is REALLY TOUGH! I was so hesitant because while products can have a ton of good reviews the bad reviews are just so bad it makes me nervous especially when buying something kinda spendy if you’re on a budget at least) and it involves my kids safety. We love this car seat. It’s a little heavy but it’s a big kid car seat with a steel frame so like I wouldn’t really expect it to be light. Either way I can handle moving it from car to car just fine. SUPER EASY TO INSTALL! And it fits SO SECURELY! I drive a little Hyundai sonata and it fits great in my car. It’s a tad tight in my husbands Honda civic but still works just fine if I’m the passenger in front lol. The covers come off really easily and are machine washable (yes I have washed mine and reattached it just fine). Overall I am really happy with this car seat and plan on buying it again when my second grows out of his infant seat.

This is the third Britax I have purchased, and I am a firm believer in the quality of the product. I have transitioned my kids from their infant seats to Britax, and then had no issues with them remaining in their Britax seats for years afterward. It is very simple to make the change from rear-facing to forward-facing, and I find the "click-tight" system easy to use after you play with it the first time. Once you properly install the seat, it feels super secure. We use our Britax seats in SUVs, so I cannot speak to how they fit in sedans. On the SUV side, we have not had issues fitting multiple seats comfortably.

I love this carseat! We went from a Graco Triride to this and this is world's better! It is sooo easy to install and uninstall. I do not use the lower latch as it says it's recommended to use the seatbelt path in the manual. We are rear-facing still so no comment on front-facing. The click tight system is amazing. As we parents know, those latches can be such a pain to tighten and untighten. I had to pull on the latch and the latch release like my life depended on it with the Graco but not this carseat. You just put the seatbelt in the right path and remove a little slack from it, tip from Britax themself, if you can't get the click tight to close, give the seatbelt a bit of slack. They said if you pull all the slack from the seatbelt, the click tight may give you some issues closing. To open the click tight, push down on the middle of the seat and then turn the dial. You won't be able to open the clicktight by just turning the dial, you have push down on the middle of the seat. I can install this by myself while 33 weeks pregnant! I don't personally think the carseat is heavy at all but that's just me, I know others have said that it's heavy so take that as you will. I will definitely be buying another one of these when my second child outgrows her infant carseat. Two thumbs up for Britax! Absolutely no complaints, love this seat!

I tried so many car seats and either returned or resold them. This one is fantastic and I will forever stick with Britax. This was so easy to install which was the most important part since we sometimes have to swap vehicles. It was also so much more secure. In two years I have been in two accidents caused by someone not paying attention, failing to yield and pulling into the line of traffic (aka me) so I was probably even more over the top picking a seat. Every car seat I would tighten and tighten and still feel like it wobbled too much. This thing doesn't move at all. It's comfortable and the straps are a much better material vs other seats, they pull tight so easily. I will say if you have short fingers it might be hard to reach the release, I have freakishly long fingers so it's just fine for me. Now if they would just make a rotating version we would have the perfect seat.

I can probably come back and drop a more thorough review later but on a whim, I can say these things,Pros:-It is easy to install, like super easy, it should never take more than a minute to buckle in. I currently have mine rear facing still, so I can’t speak too much on forward facing, but it looks like a similar process.-There are a lot of adaptions to cater to different aged/sized toddlers.-it is appealing and soft, very high quality.Cons:-Biggest issue so far is that it is a bit difficult getting the baby in and out of the car seat. I have a 2016 model Jeep Cherokee and it’s just a little to tight of a space, I end up breaking a sweat in the morning getting the baby in/out the car. It’s the size of the padding by the head, it is just not the easiest to navigate around.-I can’t compare to other car seats, but this is one pretty heavy and bulky, it sucks moving it from car to car. This is seperate from installing, the install is super simple, but moving it around is tough.-if you dont pay attention, it is easy to ignore how the straps sit on baby. I noticed the straps start falling off the shoulders of baby. I lifted the chest buckle to sit above the nipple line, and that keeps the shoulder straps where they need to be.In general, it’s a good car seat, I bought it on sale and very happy I used that opportunity to not buy full price. Don’t overthink your purchases!
