I used these for getting broken screws out of wood. They worked well enough even though that’s not their intention.

I bought these as a last resort to get some screws out of a teak bench that I'm restoring. The screw heads had broken off and the threaded part was below the surface. I looked at more expensive options but decided to try these, and boy am I glad that I did. I made a quick 3/8" hole jig with a piece of pine to guide the hole saw, started drilling, and within a minute the plug and screw popped free. It left behind a neat 3/8" hole that I will plug with dowel. I highly recommend these hole saws for this purpose.

We were drilling into quartz laden house wall stone and burning up a $5 bit every inch of depth. These cut right through with water, five to ten holes per bit. Well worth the money. Class A contractor with 37 years experience.
