These are my now coveted premium bits. There's a noticeable difference with using these vs the bulk garbage drill bits that I have lying around everywhere. If you've got the money, get this upgrade.

CATEGORICAL GRADINGPresentation/Packaging: B+Quality/Craftsmanship/Materials: BPrice/Value/Worth: CFunctionality/Versatility: BInstructions/Ease-of-Use/Comfort: CMarketing vs Reality: BUtility Grade (how useful it will be to me): B(Where “C” = Average)Current offered price: $22.99PROS: hardened, strong, sharpCONS: priceCOMMENTS: Nice pair of drill bits. Easily drills through 1/8” steel without lubrication (1000 RPM). Comes in small, 2-part plastic case with a base to hold the bit and a long cover sleeve. A bit on the expensive side for any more than the most frequently used diameters. They have not gotten a lot of use as yet, so not certain how durable they will be, but will certainly edit review if they prove not to be.*PRECISE RATING: 4 (good at doing what I need, at least one exceptional characteristic, probably would buy again)RECOMMENDATION: I can recommend these bits if price is not an issue; could recommend more enthusiastically if they were priced less than $10/bit.(As always, I will report back if there are any durability or performance issues with additional use.)PHOTO INFO (photos are loaded in order, but may be rearranged when finally posted):1) Bit in case2) Opened case with bit displayedI hope you found something informative and useful in this review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. Good luck with your decision.

Nice bits. Very sharp with clean, chip free edges. Nice anti-wear coating.Very well packaged, with the bits held centered in a heavy duty, square plastic tube by a grip in the cap.I've used it in both wood and aluminum and they cut great! Have not yet had an opportunity to try in steel. The shank seem to have a micro-media blasted surface for a better grip in the drill chuck.A bit expensive, but if they hold up like they seem they are going to, it's worth it.

I drilled through a broken 3/4" tap. This bit was amazing, it took some incredible force to drill through the tap, but it was successful and I got the tap removed. I had to drill through almost 3" of hardened tap.
