I’m going to recommend this unit as it’s got the Carbon block filter and years of learning that’s the only way to go. The water is awesome tasting! It’s easy to connect and flush and go :) But my gawsh- why can I buy a new complete unit with filter for slightly less than just a new replacement filter cartridge. Brondell you can do better. I tried buying online and I was refused a 10% discount and shipping was standard $24 for 1 or 2 cartridge filters. State that offer only applies to US then. That was disappointing. I’m not sure that I will reorder because of the cost. Seems a bit over the top.

I got this yesterday and installed it in less than ten minutes. The installation directions were very easy to follow. The faucet is sleek and most importantly the water tastes amazing. This is a really inexpensive investment seeing that the filters are only changed once a year. Very Happy!

After using KX Matrikx filters for over a decade, I started to notice a degradation of quality in their filters. After a few unsuccessful attempts to contact the company, I decided to search elsewhere. After weeks of researching filters, I settled on the Brondell H2O+ Pearl Countertop System. Aside from needing an adapter that wasn't supplied by Brondell, the installation (if you can call it that) took less than 10 minutes. Before initial use, I flushed the filter for 10 minutes. The water has a clean, crisp taste again. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I've had a countertop water filter for many years. It was a big, heavy, industrial looking thing, with a rugged casing, meant more for a lab than a kitchen, but it worked fine. It's not the casing that matters, it's the filters. It was time to replace the whole thing. It was looking a bit shabby. This is designed for home use. It's looks right on a kitchen counter. It's less industrial looking and has a lighter contruction. The hose and output connects very easily. There's enough adapters that fitting this to your faucet shouldn't be a problem. The "change" indicator on top is a nice touch. LIke I mentioned, it's all about the filters, and the included filter is good. My water is clean and clear.Of course, it's conditional. Water varies in quality from location to location. There's a wide variety of filter cartridge types out there, too. If you're really concerned send a sample of your water out for testing - and be prepared for the results. I've seen some "interesting" water tests. Then get a filter cartridge that meets your needs.
