When I opened the box, the plastic packaging was already opened and the yellow plastic piece that comes over the ink nossle on new items, was missing. There appears to be some ink in there, not sure if it's full but it was obviously a returned item. I have been waiting for ink at work so I had to use it, but it is unacceptable that it was sent out.

Brother support is awful. I was on hold for an hour on the phone and ended up chatting with someone online. This black ink was defective and not able to be recognized by my printer. They said that all I could do was buy a new one. What a rip off. Now I have a brand new, full, very expensive black ink cartridge that is essentially worthless, that Amazon also refuses to return. Thanks for nothing.
