We have two air conditioning units on our back up generator and installed this surge protector with a delay feature on one of the units. This device delays it starting at the same time as the other unit to avoid over loading the capacity of the initial start up call of power. Has worked as intended on two power outages we have experienced since installing it.

Este protector de sobretensiones indica en la descripción que funciona para refrigerador y es algo que en mi caso no fue así, no me sirvió ya que al conectarlo siempre se encendía la luz amarilla y no dejaba de sonar, el refrigerador ni siquiera encendía, tuve que quitarlo y dejar conectado el refrigerador directo nuevamente.

This surge protector for appliances is excellent.We like that it is well made. It fits very well and holds strong on the outlet. It will cover up both outlets no matter which one you use (top or bottom).You must read the instructions on the box. Make sure to plug the appliance into the surge protector first before plugging the surge protector into the wall outlet.Once the surge protector is plugged in, you need to turn the switch on, then it will start a 3 minute count down. The appliance will remain off until the 3 minutes are up, then the appliance will come on or get power to it. The display will show the current voltage reading.The way it protects after a power outage is that when the power comes back on, the surge protector will count a 3 minute delay before the appliance is turned back on or gets power to make sure the power will stay on and not shock the appliance.We are using it to protect the refrigerator and we are pleased with this product.
