I really don't grasp why we had to improve the traditional cube but apparently we did. I do like that this one comes without stickers. Kids tend to want to rip off stickers and magically make it look like they solved the puzzle when all they did was destroy the toy. So the lack of stickers is nice. However, the adjusting of tension or magnetic pull is just beyond what my 7 year old cares about. I also feel the price is a bit steep. However, it is sturdy. It does what you're looking for in a cube that you can try to solve.

This cube is so fast and smooth. It comes with a hard magnetic case, a carrying bag, an extra white middle piece incase you don't want the logo, a cleaning cloth, a screw driver, and instructions and tutorials. I love that you can adjust it to work however you want it to. You have 5 levels of adjustment on each of the 8 corners to adjust how strong the magnetic force is. At level 1 the cube requires very little effort to move out of square, at level 5 everything attracts into place very easily but it takes more effort, but still less than a normal cube, to turn it. There is also adjustments for the spring tension and axis distance. I'm not exactly sure what these do but with both setting set to 1 on all 6 sides, the cube feels really loose but not in a bad way. With both settings set to 5 on all 6 sides, the cube is very tight and solid. It's pretty cool to be able to choose what every works best for you. I see no down sides and highly recommend it.
