This pet vacuum is fantastic! We have two dogs who shed a lot and this works great. Our lab will even pick up the hose in his mouth and hand it back to me to keep using it on him because he loves the “scratches” he gets from the retractable tines. It is much easier than brushing them and you can do it inside because all the hair gets sucked in. So easy to use. Wish we’d gotten this years ago.

I have a very kiddish rescue dog but he needs grooming. I new it would we a slow process. I let it sit out a couple days so he could smell and explore. Then i turned it on a few time. The then put a large box around it with plenty of ventilation and turned it on. It muffled the sound. (This unit is pretty quiet anyway but my dog is a wimp 😂) With all this said, i love the this groomer. It has everything i need to the bag to do a complete job. All the tools are well made and easy to use. The fur container is large enough that i could do a complete job with out stopping to empty. (50# small golden retriever) I would others to look into this groomer, as i think it’s well built.

and they're not lying. Our beautiful hunting dog is truly an amazing creature. The problem is that a couple of hours of hunting is followed by 2-3 days minimum of removing burrs. No matter what we sprayed on the her (Mane & Tail was the best), those little buggers would just really get nestled in to her fur. While she fears no gun shot, the sound of the cutting shears would send her packing!This unit has 3 suction settings and using the first setting, she was literally falling asleep while I was grooming her!I'm so excited to be able to ease her burr pain without scaring her. I did have to empty the cup 3 times but she never even budged when I walked away to empty the cup.If your pup does not like shears, I would HIGHLY recommend giving this a try. I'm also half-tempted to buy a backup unit just in case... :)

I don't have a high maintenance dog, but she does shed a lot and what seems like year round. She also will not let anyone comb her for very long. I've been petting the fur off of her and collecting it to throw away. I'm so tired of the hair sticking to me and flying in the air. After using this off and on for one day, I could pet her for 2-3 days without her shedding. That's a new experience. She doesn't tolerate it for long, but I'm hopeful with time she'll become more comfortable with it and let me do it a little longer each time. I did discover this morning that she would let me run the vacuum over her without the prongs out on the brush and seemed to be a little more tolerant of that. We'll work on it, but I love the product. I've used the brush, scissors and trimmers on her.

This product is the best product we have ever purchased to help with shedding. We have an indoor lab pyranese mix dog who sheds year round. This product is so easy to use, and it is quiet enough that our large dog does not mind it even on the most powerful setting. It is amazing how much hair the tool removes! The canister is simple to empty. Our dog also likes the attachment that is like a massage. It even comes with an attachment to clean the sofa or beds. We have also used this on our 3 1/2 pound chihuahua. We put it on a lower setting simply because of her size. We have recommended this product to others and everyone is happy with it. This is money well spent.
