When I ordered this, I swear it said it was Android compatible, and I need a camera to replace an ancient one that did happen to work on Android but now quit working all together. It doesn't say that now, so either I'm mistaken or they corrected it, because it does not support Android TV (at least, not on my TV). So I've rated it based on what they currently say it supports. On Windows 11, it's plug-and-play. The auto-focus seems to work pretty well when there is one person to focus on or everyone is equidistant from it. But this is a wide-angle camera, so multiple people with different distance from the camera may result in some being a bit out of focus. The wide angle is better suited for groups than individuals unless you are very close to it. The sound pick-up supports groups well as long as only one speaks at a time. Otherwise, noise cancelling may kick in (as it should).Having gotten this with the plan of attaching it to my Android TV for family chats, I'm not going to get as much use out of it as I expected unless I switch to using a PC instead of the TV I've been using. But for those who intend to use a PC, it's a good choice for family or business video conferences. For individual use, the wide angle may show more background than you want.

4K Webcam for PC, 4K UHD 1/2.55" Sony Sensor, Auto Focus, Privacy Cover & Tripod, Dual Noise-Cancelling Mics, Plug&Play, 77° FOV, Web Camera for Streaming, Video Calling, Teams, Zoom, SkypeA decent webcam for doing conferencing like Zoom calls, etc. Auto focus is fine with enough light . Slow if you move around fast but otherwise it's fine. The tripod is a good size. I have larger and smaller and both are at the edge of where I need it . I have a double monitor on my desk do putting it in front of the primary screen is important for me but not too high as to be in the middle of the screen or two low to be looking "up."The build is fine especially for the price point. It has a standard webcam lens cover that they all seem to have (plastic with double sided tape around the cam lens. USB3 connection. 4k will broadcast 4K displayable on a 4K monitor. Has double mic which pics up voice just fine (it's always right in front of me). It's a webcam meant for doing video calls. Does what it does without issue. 77 degree and noise cancel mic says it can get 3-5 people in the frame. The listing seems impressed wtih the cover and over plays it's hand. No one is going to open and close that cheap plastic cover (it is what it is) "boasts a lifespan of over 100,000 openings."For me, I prefer a detached camera and don't use the laptop camera as It's positional dependent vs. standalone, I can move it a lot easier no it's tripod. It has a 1/2.55" Sony sensor vs some off-brand. It can be mounted on the monitor in front of me and I have done this but prefer a tripod. This is one of those things I like to keep a spare. One travels with me and one stays put in a setup with its own computer, etc. In this age with so many Video calls, I don't want to have to reassemble my setup at home or forget something on the road.Good video conference webcam.

You're probably thinking, "This is just a cheap webcam." And it is. But the reality is that it delivers an excellent picture because, let's be real, these days even "cheap" electronics are darned great. What I mean is, you're going to be happy with the image ... as long as you have good lighting. The downside is that you have very little control over its settings; it's pretty much auto-everything. If you've used high-end webcams, they come with software for all sorts of adjustments (e.g., lighting, white balance). This is all automatic. In good lighting it'll work a treat, just don't plan to tweak the camera. Some parts of the build are kinda cheap, but nothing to detract from the camera quality itself. For example, I would be careful mounting it because the hole is shallow and you could damage it if you used the wrong length screw. (The tripod it comes with is quite cheap, so you'll definitely want a better mount.)If you're not looking for the top of the line, and you don't need a lot of adjustments, this is a terrific value.

As far as webcams go, this is definitely the best I've used so far. It has a crystal clear image with good color reproduction, the quick image I took out the window doesn't really do it justice. It's no DSLR, but its as good as I think you can expect from a webcam. Virtually no motion blur when youre moving around. It only starts to show motion blur when the whole background changes rapidly, like if you're rotating the camera itself, but that's to be expected with any USB camera. The stand/arm it comes with is better than others I've seen. It has a nice little "foot" to help it hold onto displays and it stays in place solidly while still able to move smoothly. The little tripod it comes with is a nice extra, and it expands to a pretty good size.Only negative I have is that the autofocus is pretty slow, taking 5-6s to adjust itself, and I'm not even sure that's a negative. At worst its a small issue for a web cam where the distance doesn't often change, but its arguably a positive because it wont have to refocus again if you dip your head out of frame for a moment.Update: Unfortunately it died after 2 months and only using it a few times. Failed pretty dramatically too, with the lovely smell of burnt circuits and it even partially melted the lens. Only a sample size of one, but it doesn't bode well for its reliability so I've got to take a star off. It's a shame, I really liked the camera.

I needed a webcam for my desktop PC for Zoom and Teams meetings etc. This camera kit from NEWORK seemed to be the sort of thing I was looking for – it had 4k capability, autofocus, auto light adjustment and audio noise reduction. The price had dropped a lot since I ordered it – it’s now about $36 with the current discount coupon on Amazon. The price is a bit less than many similarly-featured webcams and much less than the equivalent Logitech cameras. I ordered the kit version of the product because it included a handy tripod for mounting the camera. In the end, I didn’t need to use the tripod because I found a way of clipping the camera to the top of my video monitor.I couldn’t believe how quick the installation was. The instructions just said plug it into a USB port – which I did and it self-installed and was ready to go within seconds. I tested it out using the Windows 10 Camera App and it did everything I expected. Picture was reasonable quality and the autofocus and auto light adjustment worked well. I like the flip-top cap that folds over the camera lens to guarantee privacy when I need it.I’m not going to be filming epic movies with this camera nor am I going to parade myself to the world on it – but for video conferencing, it looks ideal and I probably won’t find anything much better for the money.
