This easel has been very helpful in keeping my little busy and helping with early writing skills.

Pictures included were taken after we got this all set up for our 2-yr-old, so it includes crayons and colored pencils that were purchased separately.This is a cute little easel that my daughter loves. We really like the storage cups and the storage well under the board itself. It comes with several items included, but not all of them are the greatest, or appropriate for the target audience. For example, as you can see from the picture, the chalks came in several pieces. They weren't particularly high quality, and the chalkboard is a sort of plastic-y material that they don't show up very well on. My daughter's outdoor chalks work much better on it. However, it does come with a little holder that will hold even small chalk pieces, and gives my daughter a better grip.She loves the magnets that came with this, and the whiteboard markers are also magnetic. The caps were a little difficult for her to get off the markers, which caused some frustration for her, but it also kinda works out well because she has to come to me and ask for help so I know when she is about to wield a marker and can watch her a little more closely.There were little cardboard game boards included - those got torn up quickly by Destructo Toddler. And the tiny little pieces (similar to the size of the pieces you would get in those little travel-size games) and mini dice that were intended to for use with the cardboard gameboard were never given to her because they are small enough to be a choke hazard.It is a bit shorter than I anticipated, so LO has to sit or kneel to use it, but that doesn't seem to bother her one bit. We purchased a pad of paper separately and use the clips on this board to fix sheets up on top of the whiteboard for her to use her crayons and colored pencils with.Would definitely recommend. It was pretty easy to assemble and has avoided being broken thus far (was given to her on Christmas).

Bought this for my two year old son and he loves it! It is the perfect size for him to use sitting or standing. He draws on this everyday! The only issue I had was with the erasers on the markers. The erasers are not glued into the marker and can actually come out of the marker. This can be a choking hazard, so I just took them all off. Otherwise this is a great product.

Talk about versatility! This little art easel is VERSATILE!This Art Board/Easel can be used as a stand alone art easel for use with Your Little One standing to use it or they can sit on the floor with their legs placed under the easel and use it as a desk. Furthermore, by taking the legs off completely (it is easy to disassemble) it can be used as a tabletop ease or as a flat art board.There are SO many ways to put this easel together, and I love that variety._The easel comes in one manageable box, which has a nice handle on top. I think this box would make a great storage container in case you don't want to leave the easel out at all times._Assembly is very straight forward, but there are clear directions in pictures on the side of the box in case you need to refer to them. The legs fit firmly into the slots, but are easy enough to remove._On one side of the two-sided art board there is a white dry erase board, with a black chalkboard on the opposite side. Of course the day of actual slate chalk boards seems a thing of the past, so this chalkboard is the usual rough surface which will some times likely need to be cleaned by a damp cloth, as chalk doesn't erase fully._The double sided board can be used upright or lain flat. There are clips at the top of these boards which could hold art paper to be painted onto. _Under the place where the boards lie is a storage area which includes a couple of game boards and a spirograph-like pattern maker. Its a great place for art supplies storage or for completed art. _Also included are: two sets of dry erase markers, erasers, pieces which I think must be used with the game boards._There are cutouts along one side which hold included cups of bright colors for art supplies. These are removable which is a real plus to me, as it allows for easy cleanup. You just know something like mac n cheese will somehow find its way into these cups. Am I right?BOTTOM LINE:If you want to give a Little Artist an inspiring space to create art, this will surely fit their needs. Recommended for ages 3+ I do believe that is a good age and think it would be suitable up to age six or seven, given its versatility.
