Review of Honderson 3FT 10/3 Yellow Extension Cord,10 Gauge SJTW Heavy Duty Extension Cable Waterproof with Lighted Indicator End,3 Prong Grounded Plug for Safety - UL Listed (Yellow, 3FT) sold by Longkoushihongdesenjingmaoyouxiangongsi doing business on Amazon as Hongdesen which is also the brand name on the cord.This is a 10-gauge cord so it is obviously going to be pretty stiff even at late spring, early summer temperatures.This has a straight-in plug.Although this is a 3-foot-long cable (91.4 cm) when measured outlet/receptacle to plug the useful length will be only about 31 inches (78.7 cm) if the cord has to bend to meet the situation. This is because the plus is about 3 inches (7.6 cm) long and it takes 2 inches (5.1 cm) for it to bend 90 degrees.This has a strong well-built feel to it although the heavier gauge wiring helps. The jacket seems to be well made.Although listed as being waterproof there is a warning to not use the cable when wet. Standard warning from the legal department should anyone be shocked (or worse) or possibly cause a fire should the damp conduct electricity on the outside of the cable.

I needed just a short cord to save from having to crawl around on my hands and knees whenever re-setting our Level 1 EV Charger due to, well, who knows why this is necessary sometimes. This very heavy duty cord is rated far above the 6 Amps that I set the charger to to keep the car charged while we are away for extended periods of time. So, it was perfect and the price was much lower than I found anywhere else.
