I usually use the Forney version of this wire in my HF gasless welder. I've noticed this wire is just as good as what I've been using, and the price is more reasonable, at almost half the cost for a two pound spool. The wire flows through the machine smoothly and the welds have a very low amount of spatter. I have used this wire to weld sheet metal and thickness up to 1/4 ", and I haven't had any problems caused by the wire. I'm happy to have found this product.

Let me say up front I'm not a welder I'm more of a want to be welder. I have a MIG welder that I bought that will run both gas and gasless wire. I hope to someday run gas but for now I use the flux core wire. The wire is easy to work and beads fairly well. The welds seem to hold up and the wire actually makes my poor technique look better than it is. I like that it comes with two spools because I'm going to need both to finish this job.
