Works correctly, material and build quality seem decent and suitable. Short 3' MIDI cables like this are only suitable for connecting equipment which are near each other, but other than this consideration I would recommend this MIDI cable for anyone including professionals.

This is a good length for connecting synths that are clustered together, especially running a MIDI thru to another nearby device. The connectors are thinner than other generic MIDI cables I own, and have a sleek metal casing as opposed to plastic. That and the braided cloth cable covering give this a nicer feel than what I'm used to. More importantly, its operation has been solid, and I haven't noticed any dropped signals or lag time when using it.
