Review of: **CableGeeker 24 Port Patch Panel, Cat6 Patch Panel UTP with RJ45 Through Coupler 10G Support, 1U 19-Inch Network Patch Panel with Removable Back Bar, Compatible with Cat6, Cat5e, Cat5 Cabling**This is a pretty basic patch panel that comes with a full set of female to female keystone jacks. The panel itself is mostly metal with plastic face plates. It feels very solid and fits a standard 19' rack. The required hardware to mount to a rack is also included. The keystones are pretty basic and almost all plastic, but they fit fine and had no trouble with data and POE transmission when I tested a few. They don't seem like the most heavy duty keystones, but unless you are constantly inserting and removing them or cables attached to them, they should be fine for most users.I also like the labels that are behind a clear plastic cover so that you can label each port. Small but they do the trick.Lastly the panel does have a guide on the back and small zip ties that can secure your cables to the guide tray. Nothing fancy but it works, though I prefer guide trays that hold the cables without zip ties.Price-wise, it's reasonable, at least when you use the 30% off coupon to bring the regular $40 price down under $30. At that price, this is a pretty good buy. At $40, it's a bit on the high side for what you get.

It's a straightforward and solid option for organizing my home network. The metal construction gives it a durable feel, and it fits perfectly into my 19-inch rack. The included keystone jacks are functional, though they are mostly plastic and may not hold up to heavy use over time. I like the labeling system behind a clear cover, which keeps everything neat and easy to identify. The included zip ties for cable management are a nice touch, although I personally prefer guide trays that don’t require them. The assembly was simple, but I did find it odd that the couplers were shipped disassembled and needed to be inserted upside down compared to my previous panel. In terms of value, overall, it meets my needs well. If I expand my network further, I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one of these panels.I hope you find this review helpful in making an informed decision. Your feedback is always welcome.Cheers,Straight Shooter

As a home network enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for ways to keep things clean and organized. That's why I was excited to try the CableGeeker 24-Port Patch Panel. Here's my take:Plug-and-Play Perfection: Forget fiddly punch downs and messy wires! This panel's RJ45 through couplers are a game-changer. Simply plug in your existing Cat6, Cat5e, or Cat5 cables, and you're good to go. Setup was a breeze, saving me tons of time and frustration.Rack-Ready Robustness: This panel fits flawlessly into my 19-inch server rack. The detachable back bar makes cable management a snap, and the whole thing feels solid and well-built. I have no worries about it bending or sagging under the weight of all those cables.10G Ready for Futureproofing: While my current network isn't pushing 10-gigabit speeds yet, knowing that this panel can handle it gives me peace of mind for future upgrades. It's nice to have that extra headroom.Everything You Need in the Box: CableGeeker doesn't skimp on the extras. The panel comes with all the screws, zip ties, and even labels you need for a professional-looking installation. No more hunting for missing parts!Minor Wish: My only tiny gripe is that the couplers themselves could be a tad sturdier. They feel secure enough, but a bit more heft wouldn't hurt for complete peace of mind.Overall:Despite the minor nitpick, the CableGeeker 24-Port Patch Panel is a fantastic addition to my home network. It's well-built, easy to use, and future-proof. If you're looking for a clean and efficient way to organize your network cables, look no further!

Yeah ok if you really want to minimize the number of connections in your network rack, using punchdown keystones is the way to go I suppose. However, I find it way easier to finish my cable and then insert it into the coupler. If you don't necessarily have everything planned and drawn up exactly how its gonna go before you start, then this is 100% the way to go, as you can easily move connections around as needed if plans change or you decide to add more connections later, still keeping everything organized just the way you want it.The panel itself is nice quality, one note, since the labels are BELOW the keystones, plan your rack accordingly to have the patch cables ascend from the panel. IE, place this BELOW your switch. So you can see the labels. Alternatively, there is plenty of room to add your own sticker labels above the keystones.
