This is not the most rigid cardboard, but at ~1.7mm thick, it makes a relatively sturdy 4x4" box. I also like that the flaps are proportionally long enough so you have a good base to fold the ends over and have them stick in the tab slots. I wish the tab slots were cleared at the factory so you're not left with 2 pieces of garbage for every box you assemble, but it's really the only downside with these, and not enough to drop it from 5 stars.

I was very pleased with these boxes. They are sturdy and well made. They come flat for easy shipping but are very easy to fold and put together. They are perfect for shipping small items like jewelry.

These boxes are perfect for shipping smaller items (like jewelry etc.) - they're slightly over 4" long, x slightly over 4.5" wide, and just over an inch deep. You can just barely NOT fit a cassette tape in them (which is OK, I already have boxes for those), but they'd be great for other small items, like jewelry, coins, etc. They fold up relatively easy. They're not the thickest cardboard in the world, but once folded, they provide pretty decent support for whatever is inside, though I wouldn't ship anything super fragile, as there's just not a lot of room inside for packing materials. Other than that, they're the perfect size for the items I mentioned, saving me from using larger boxes, and potentially paying more in shipping, which is never fun.

Excellent well-made boxes. They are sturdy and easy to assemble. I have full confidence that they will protect my items as they work themselves through the postal system.
