These table runners are pretty good for disposable ones. You get 12 in a pack, and they are a good size at 14 x 108". They fit my table of 6-8 people. They are made of plastic, so they are waterproof and oil-proof. You can either wipe them down to reuse or just toss them after your party. I used them for a race car-themed party for my nephew, and he liked them. He even kept using them as a track after the party, so we got multiple uses out of them, which was even better. I did notice a slight plastic smell when I first opened them, but it went away after airing them out for a day.

These are a fun theme, we are doing a "racing" theme for a party and these were perfect! Not super thick, but will do the job for one event and not have to worry about clean up.

These are delightfully cute. They come with a sneaky tight fold that some reviewers have missed. When FULLY opened, they are truly 14 inches wide. The downside is that they become quite thin plastic, and are only printed on one side. I kinda prefer them folded, so they are only 7" wide but thicker, stay in place better, don't wrinkle as easily, and the pattern is bright on both sides.The down-rating here is because of the smell. And I'm not talking subtle, or just for odor-sensitive people. The volatile chemical REEK of paint, or perhaps plastic, is so strong that I had to leave these outside. I didn't even want them in the closed garage. I couldn't have them in the house. I had to take the time and fuss to drape them out and hang them in the breeze. 24 hours later they don't make me gag and wish I had a gas mask, but I'm still a bit afraid to fold them up and seal the bag again.If they finish outgassing, they're good value for the money. These could easily be used as borders for bulletin boards, or table runners, or wall hangings for any sort of racing or running event, or for a chess or checkers tournament perhaps? Too bad they're only six squares across.Just give yourself time to air them outside on the clothesline for a day or two.

My brother hosts a slot car race party a couple of times a year and these looked fantastic on the tables. The party is indoors so no worries about them being blown off. Fits a table up to 8 feet long. Small table? Easily cut the party table runners to your desired length. Long table? Connect the edges of several runners with a piece of tape, and spread them across long tables! When the party is over, roll it up and toss it! Or, if you wish, you can easily wipe them down and reuse them for your next event!

I was re-reading the full online description when I opened the first of 4 packs within the bag because the strips are all 7" wide, not 14" wide as described and as illustrated. The main zip seal bag received contains 4 smaller packs and each of those packs contains 3 long strips that are 7" wide. That meant a total of 12 strips. That changes a few scenarios on how to use these to best effect. One thing that might be of use is that the checkerboard pattern is on both faces of the strips (front and back).The material is similar to what I think of when mentioning 'plastic table cloth' or 'picnic table cloth.' It is very lightweight to handle but isn't fragile. It doesn't stretch and it unfolded without creases. Being so light I was using thumbtacks to hang it and black electrical tape over the blacksquares to hold it in position if needed.As shown in the photos it is high gloss so for photography backgrounds like a winners stage that will be a factor. Otherwise it is all as expected, minus the confusion about the product's width.
