My 10 yr old is tall and a bit ‘husky’ around his middle & his thighs. He wears both an XL in Boys Tshirts & a 12-14 in pants at Target & Walmart. So I purchased the size (12-13yr) for this shirt. It is a sturdy lightweight material, not too stiff. It fits well in the chest, & shoulders, and it’s a long enough length to either wear it untucked or tucked without issue. It is a little bit tighter in the tummy. I will be washing it in cold and line drying because if it shrinks any, it won’t work for us. I can tell that if I’d gotten a bigger size, it wouldn’t have fit him correctly. So if you have a tall skinnier kid, it should fit just fine. The buttons and stitching seem good quality. It arrived with creases because it was obviously folded. So if this is a last minute purchase, plan ahead to iron or steam the shirt before use.

This shirt exceeded my expectations. It is nice and light, good color, & looks expensive.The sizing is slightly small. If in between sizes, I would size up. I will definitely be ordering in more colors.
