I wear xxl shirts and these are good heavyweight shirts. Be aware that the sleeves have thumb holes sewn in, not a problem for me because I have to roll my sleeves up a turn or two because of the length on all the xxl shirts I buy.

Mens Sun Protection Shirts UV SPF UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Rash Guard Fishing Running Swim T-Shirt Quick-Dry Lightweight is a good top but definitely cut for a male figure. Does not fit a woman properly. I am a 2x in women clothing and XL in men's clothing. The girth was roomy and more than adequate for apple shape. However the sleeves were much too long even for this design. I have another similar top from different brand and the arms on that top are appropriate. I like having the thumb hole because with my arms most sleeves are too long. I don't like rolling up the sleeves. So this design works for shorter arms generally. This shirt was just too long in the arms. Otherwise very comfortable even after washing. Holds the shape and drapes nicely. Keep in mind the items runs a bit on larger sizing. The color purple is more of a blue shade. I thought it was just my monitor reflecting a bluer tint when I ordered but it is definitely not purple. Nice shade of periwinkle maybe? Looks nice all the same and there are no annoying tags to itch the skin. I think this is a good choice for someone with sensitive skin. Feels like silk. Lightweight and you can roll it into a ball and stuff in a bag because will take a lot of abuse. My only negative observation is the design of the arms; the length and the thumb hole seems at first in a strange location once I put on the top. I had to make sure I hadn't put it on backwards.

I bought this for my husband, and he remarked how soft the material was, so I bought 2 for my daughter to wear daily in the FL sun as she works outside. They both love these shirts, and I will be buying more!

We wore them in the Bahamas all day and they were perfect for snorkeling and all day wear! Soft and quality feel to the fabric.

love wearing this shirt at the beach, pool, etc. even on hot days it is very cool, keeps the sun off and dries quickly if I do decide to enter the water. Would recommend.
