The brass piece had bits of metal left over from machining. I used the blunt end of a drill bit the size of the holes to push the pieces out.The kit works as described, but it was a lot more work than the instructions imply. It took me bleeding the lines twice (turning the key to run for 30 seconds at time for about 20 or more times) to get all air out. Then after the second time, I primed 16 times, and on the 17th I held the accelerator to the floor and after the second attempt it started. I was about to lose faith, but it finally worked. I will never again let this happen, but I know this kit is also needed for changing the fuel filters… I do not look forward to it, but at least I have this kit now.

Hose fitting does not open the Schrader value. Had to use a different hose. Spending a little time, was able to extend the value in the blue hose to open the valve. Able to delete air from after market filters. Works great, now I have a running truck. 5 stars

This product makes chaining the fuel filter process so easy. Highly recommend.
