Rear cap is value for money it is original and fits rear of my Canon 500 mm F/4L IS II USM lens, I recommend it for buying if some one has lost it accidentally, it is original from Canon.

I ordered two caps for two different lenses that were missing their rear covers and they fit both lenses perfectly. They are absolutely excellent replacements and I would buy them again. I suspect these are not original Canon-issue caps, but they are every bit as good and sturdy as the OEM caps I have. These caps I just purchased have just 'Taiwan' on the underside with the Canon brand on the outer part of the cap. My original OEM Canon caps for other lenses have 'Canon Inc' and 'Made in Taiwan' or 'Made in Japan' on the underside with the Canon brand on the outer part of the cap. Nobody will be looking to compare or nitpick, so just feel comfortable buying them.

I was after a rear cap for my kit lens from my Canon 80D so I purchased this. I was initially unsure if it was going to be cheap and not fit very well and this wasn't the case. The cap screws on nice and tightly and compared to my original cap which came with the camera it's the same.Nothing else really to say other than its a good quality cap at a good price to help protect your expensive lens.
