When I initially popped it in, I had to turn the machine off, pop it out, and pop it back in, but then it recognized it as new, and let me print!

Easy to install. Once we got the wi-fi to hookup to the plotter.Last one I bought was a few years back. Seems like they last two years.Hopefully no issues for some time.

DO NOT BUY this print head off of Amazon! I installed the print head into an imagePROGRAF iPF780 and immediately got hit with an error message and was asked to restart the plotter. I followed that step and did a test plot only to notice it was only printing in monochrome. Double-checked the color settings of both the plotter and printer settings on my computer and reprinted. It was still monochrome. I tried to clean both print heads A & B and encountered the same error message that I got originally. Unfortunately, I missed the return window but again, DO NOT BUY this print head off of Amazon. I talked to Canon support and they said this is not an OEM print head despite it being packaged as such. I know it's more expensive, but it is worth buying from B&H Photo Video or IT Supplies as that is where the Canon representative suggested I go.
