So, the case for my original FOB fell completely apart but fortunately all the electronics inside were fine. Ordered this and put it all back together. As good as original! Next, as my F150 was a side cut, I needed a locksmith to duplicate my key on to the blank received. Unfortunately, there is no way to put your old key into a new case as the key is built right into the assembly. Some of the negative reviews were because it is a blank case - For those in that position understand you need full electronics AND a programmer AND to get your key cut to match.

Does not have the computer board in the key. It's empty. This would only work if I had two extra keys laying around with perfectly functioning boards.

I recently bought this set of two replacement key fob shells for my 2013 Ford F150, and I’m really pleased with the purchase. Here’s my experience with them:Fit and Finish: The key fob shells fit perfectly with the internal components from my old key fobs. The buttons align just right, and the overall build quality feels solid. The plastic is durable and doesn’t feel cheap at all. Plus, the buttons have a nice, tactile feel when pressed.Installation: Swapping out the old shells for these new ones was a breeze. It took me about 10 minutes to do both key fobs. The hardest part was prying open the old shells, but once that was done, everything else was straightforward. The new shells snapped together securely, and everything fit snugly.Functionality: All the buttons work flawlessly, just like the original ones. The remote start, lock, unlock, and panic buttons all respond quickly and reliably. It’s great to have my key fobs looking and working like new again without having to pay a fortune at the dealership.Value for Money: Considering the price, this set of two key fob shells is a fantastic deal. It’s much cheaper than getting replacements from the dealership, and the quality is just as good. I feel like I got a lot of value for my money.Overall Impression: If you need to replace the key fob shells for your Ford or Lincoln, I highly recommend these.
