I needed another charger so I could keep all my batteries in my shop on a charger when not in use. This fit the bill and was cheaper than a branded one. It charged my 2Ah battery just fine, and also recognized and delayed the charge due to temperature, so it seems like it replicates the OEM chargers in that respect. I could not see anything in the Ridgid LSA that would invalidate the lifetime service for a battery charged by a non Ridgid charger, so I am hoping this will be the case if I have to return one later. For about half the price an OEM one, this is a good deal. There is just one difference between OEM and this one, and that is the battery does NOT latch into this charger like it does on OEM. I think that might be a nice feature actually, but be aware that the battery can come off the charger if you toss the whole kit into a toolbox or something.
