I'm a mechanic in a mine, so I thought it'd be cool to get my son some mining equipment for his 3rd birthday. I bought him this truck and was bummed when I put it together and the lights didn't work. I thought maybe the batteries were dead, so I tested them and they were fine. The power switch on the bottom felt kinda sloppy like it was broken, so I went to remove the bottom panel to inspect it, that's when I discovered that whoever installed the cover panel at the factory snapped one of the screws, this caused the batteries to not get good enough pressure against the contacts and therefore, the lights didn't work. While I had the cover off, I also noticed that there was a screw missing in one of the wire retainers. These things are way too expensive to have this poor of quality control. Not very happy with this at all.

Ok... STOP whatever you're doing and listen up; if you are a die hard fan of construction vehicles or just a novice with a slight interest in collecting one or 2, I say, the Diecast Masters mining vehicles with light are a game changer and the way to go! Right now they only have 2 - this articulated dump truck and a loader. Trust me, you cannot go wrong.

Great model to add to my mining collection. The rock load and working lights just take it to the next level.
