I gave this a chance, since it's a bargain compared some big brands, and because it looks like leafily shaped leaves instead of random crumbles, spongey-looking foam, or sawdust. Other types of leaves tend to look more like they'd fit better at 1:24 scale or maybe down to 1:32 scale. These work for 1:48. I'll probably use them for 1:64 also, depending on the base/diorama.

This product is fine for a basing material, with a different texture than many other basing products.HOWEVER the descriptions and photos are not accurate. They look nothing like leaves, they just look like what they are: seeds with a bit of flocking on them. This is not what I was looking for.
