The perfect tool for cleaning the pipe between my dishwasher air gap and garbage disposal. Huge life saver and worked perfectly. Flexible while also stiff enough to easily push through, and very long.

I literally know nothing about plumbing except how to unclog my own bathroom drains with a zipit thing since I have long hair. My elderly parents were dealing with water overflowing all over the kitchen counter from a leaking airgap, I found a YT video with different solutions and different brushes, but picked this since it was probably the cheapest and thought I'd give it a go before calling a plumber. Since I didn't exactly know what I was doing, it took a bit of angling and repeated attempts to get the brush through, and it was disgusting, seriously so nasty, but I managed to get all the debris out, pushed into the disposal very compacted so I could get it out with paper towels, and then I ran it through a few times after the bulk of the clog was out. Both the large and small side worked, the long metal flex hose was a bit hard to manage, but it worked fine. I don't know about other uses for it, I just kept rinsing it in a bowl of hot water during the process and then washed and disinfected it afterwards. I would definitely advise wearing gloves if doing this, and not using any type of cleaning solution. But I can recommend, for the price and a little patience, this will unclog the airgap hose to a disposal, so I was very pleased I bought it.

Summary: I used this product to clean the drain line for my residential AC unit. My AC units uses a 3/4" PVC pipping. The OEM brush has an additional 0.75" of unbendable cable hidden in the hose piping at the end of each brush. This made it impossible for me to run the brushes through my PVC piping at the 90* bends. I had to modify the brush length to accommodate. No issues now but whish this was clear in the advertisement.Issue: The brushes are hard to get around a 90* angle for my 3/4" AC drain pipe system. This is due to the design of the brushes. The bristles are attached by two pieces of cable that twist similar to DNA (double helix). The bristles are between the pieces of cable. The cable extends into the hose pipe slightly by about 0.75". This extends the total non-bending portion of the brush to about 2.75" (small brush head) and this was not advertised in the ad.To fix, I used wire cutters to clip the ends of each brush by about 1". The total length of brush doesn't matter to clean the drain pipe. I then folded the top of the cables downward similar to the original design. With the new length of the brush heads, I was able to clear the 90* bends in my AC drain system no problem!Photo 1 - Length of brush (as advertised)Photo 2 - My modificationPhoto 3 - Result of the 'gunk' that came out (the water was used just to clean the bristles per run)
