Great tail gate lock to secure the tailgate of a Tacoma. Package comes with the metal lock and keys. No instructions. It's pretty straightforward so no real need for instructions. Basically the lock goes on the right side of the tailgate. You remove a few of the screws on the plastic covering that covers the tailgate. This is needed to lift the plastic and slip the lock in. Then you use some pliers to take out a small tab that blocks the tinny hole where the lock bolt will enter. Slip it right on and use the key to lock it. Then just tighten back the screws that secure the plastic covering on that tailgate. This prevents anyone from coming and lifting the tailgate right out.

This DOES NOT fit a Tacoma 2025 the hinge in the NEW tacoma 2025 is in L shape ….all previous Tacoma’s are S shape 2024…2023….2022 and so on are perfect for this lock
