For the price, they will certainly be fine,But I have a few quality issues with their design.I don’t like how little threads there are for the cap. They can easily back off. Need pliers to give them a little tighter than finger tight.I widen these had the plastic tube to help isolate the center joint / wire from the outer connector, but heat shrink tube will work. Can always cut up a small hose and install. They are not consistent with the rca end gripping. Some of them are really tight on equipment, some fit perfectly on equipment, and some are a little loose.Overall, for the price, they will work. I’ll make some test cables with them and see how clean the signal. These are similar to the old radio shack ends I use to buy years ago, so they should be ok.

Maybe some people are not soldiering these in the right spot or something? But I have made about 7 pairs of patch cables with these using 3 different brands and gages if speaker wire and have not had an issue with a single one. Can’t say they sound better than store brand ones of course cause they are all the same anyway. Instead of having extra slack of wire or not having one long enough, with these you just can make your own to whatever length you want. And it’s very easy to re use them over and over again.

Took solder well. Fit and finish good for the price. Only real issue is about 20% of the connectors had clogged inner solder cups. This is the hole where the wire that connects to the center pin, goes in to be soldered in place before screwing on the shell. Several of the connectors had that hole blocked. The blockage was underneath the gold plating so it was not practical to clear it out. So other than having to scrap several pieces, theae connectors worked fine.

I've only used a couple of these so far but they seem to be excellent quality. Much better than the cheap plastic ones.I'm not sure why some reviewers said they are hard to plug in. I didn't find that to be true. The connectors are marked with red and black bands to indicate the right and left channels of a stereo connection. The bands are very narrow and not easy to see.
