Idk. I was hoping it would him my son with his outburst of screams and car rides. My son is on the spectrum and because aba therapy is out of our reach I wanted this to work so badly. First off the quality is good bit I feel that the weights aren't heavy enough. Other than that it may be good for others depending on their child's needs.

This vest is nicely made and the velcro is strong the only negative thing i will say is there is a very strong chemical type odor to the vest when you first open it up.

I have a 4-year-old with lots of sensory issues. He's in occupational therapy and they suggested trying a weighted vest with him. This one fits him well and he calls it his 'superhero vest'. OT said it may have a calming effect on him by giving him some sensory input. I haven't noticed much of a calming effect yet, but we'll keep trying it. The vest is breathable and you can decide how many of the bean bags you add to the vest. My kiddo likes having all of the bean bags in at first, but after wearing it for a bit, will ask to take some of them out to reduce the weight. Overall we are pleased with the vest and if this is something you're looking for, give it a shot!

Smooth seams, ability to have weight or just compression. The vent on the chest is a nice touch as these types of vests can get warm. This will fit my son for a few years before needing to get another size.
