2 Year Review:Great jacket! Have recommended it to several beekeepers both at the commercial level and hobby level and it fits the bill for all needs. When it wears out, I'll buy another one. If you take care of it and fold your veil inside the jacket between uses, you won't have your veil rip.This jacket does have ONE flaw to it but I've found a remedy so I'm still giving it 5 stars. On the bottom portion of the sleeves right where the hands are, the material is cloth instead of the mesh and if I ever get stung wearing this jacket, it's right there. Go on Amazon and order some 6 inch sweat bands for your arms (

The jacket is great. It has 2 different veils so you can choose your style by trying each one. The fencing veil has a zipper to open it up so I don't have to take off the veil to get a drink. They provide 2 hood stiffeners so your fencing veil doesn't fall forward. The jacket is made of quality material thick enough to stop stings but also breaths. Multiple pockets lets me keep my tools handy and it has a pen pocket for marking queens as well as sleeve pocket besides the 4 pockets on the torso of the jacket. The sleeve cuffs are elastic and Velcro for a tight fit and has the thumb straps. I couldn't be happier with this jacket. I had a cheaper jacket and it did not last very long. I am a pay more but buy once kind of person. This jacket fills all the requirements.

This jacket is perfect. I bought it for my husband and now I'm getting one for me! Ladies, if you've had trouble finding a jacket that fits your full figure across the top comfortably, this is the one! It gives you all the space you need across the chest AND in the shoulders. Some of my favorite extras on it: There's a flap over the front zipper for extra security. There are 2 hoods included- a nice feature if you have a preference but also so you have a back up if you ever need to replace the hood. Speaking of the hoods- Normally fencing style hoods don't fit my husband's face- his Roman nose usually presses on the mesh which leaves you feeling vulnerable, but the fencing hood included with this jacket has a nylon pocket with a secure velcro slot right on top of it that holds a piece of plastic boning (provided) that keeps the hood nice and deep for noses and glasses. It's exactly what he needed! The fencing hood It also zips open from the front, should you need to adjust your glasses or take a sip of water. The other hood includes a comfortable elastic chinstrap so that it doesn't shift while it's on your head.There are 2 chest pockets and 2 waist pockets. The chest pockets are covered with a velcro flap and one of them has a pen holding section. The waist pockets are situated more on the side where your arms hang like a normal jacket, instead of on the very front like on other brands, which I find causes unnecessary fumbling. There's also a pocket on the left sleeve and a D ring for holding your keys. Overall, this jacket just feels better and functions better than any of the other jackets we've purchased- it may be a little more expensive, but we think it's worth it!
