It's a great concept for control but the execution was a little lacking in thoughtI used it once with my mallinois and the rope pulled through the whole at the other end and trying to rethread the rope is a pain I gotta use a second thinner rope and thread that through to pull the main one through 🤨😑Plus the rope is waaaayyyy toooo long if you wanna lure play with your dog tie off the rope so it's shorter and secure at the bottom or you got hell 😅

If you would have told me when I got my Saint Bernard x Leonberger puppy that his favorite activity would be chasing these flags on a stick, I would not have believed you! But a couple weeks in I was finding he would get bored of fetch, tug, and other more common puppy games and I wanted to find something he'd get excited about other than just wrestling because I knew he was going to become a monster dog. So I was buying allll the toys to see what he'd like, and this was the one, folks. Unfortunately I can't find any photos of him using it when he was younger. But he has ABUSED this thing. And it has withstood the chewing, the stomping, the pulling, all weather conditions, and it is still just as good as it was when I bought it, just maybe a bit dirtier. It comes with a second set of flags but I haven't had to use those yet! It has him sprinting around faster than any other games. I can see it in his face how content and happy he is after a good round of using the flirt pole. He just turned 1, and I'm very intrigued to see if he's still going to love this as much as he does now when he's full grown. I like how you can also unscrew it into pieces for easy storage. Definitely worth the purchase.

I was disappointed to see that when I opened the box that the stiching before use was already coming loose and that there was no covering to help keep it in place. It is a shame because the pole does seem sturdy but when you have a large dog chasing a toy on the end I know this will more than likely snap after a few goes

I bought this because our Pomsky destroys all manner of toys, including rope tugging. Since this has tough nylon straps attached to a handle it is a 'play and put away' toy.I really get a work out playing keep away and she loves to pull on it.Great toy to interact with your pup. OH yes, there are two attachments. One has a squeaky inside one strap but we haven't used yet. It would drive her nuts while the other is already keeping her highly entertained.
