I bought this shirt for my love to wear on fishing trips in Florida sun . I appreciate the high sun protection & he says it’s cool & easy to move in while fishing. It’s also great for motorcycle rides for same reasons. It washes very well & looks great. Well made & nice fabric too

I own many Guy Harvey shirts of various styles and never had any issue with anything. Size, fabric, function and buttons all spot on, that is until I bought three of the long sleeve shirts with hidden button down collars. Of the six collar buttons between the three shirts, I have had to tighten the loop used to button the collar down on three and the fourth has begun being an issue. The loops are too loose and unbutton themselves while wearing the shirt. And it isn't related to any activity other than walking or sitting. Can be fixed (tightened) if I never want to unbutton them, but their shirts are typically higher quality for a higher price. Annoying!

I have purchased "fishing shirts" made by several well-known outdoor clothing brands, but I have found the Guy Harvey shirts to be superior to most of the others. I should add that I don't actually wear them for fishing. I just want a very lightweight shirt to wear outdoors during hot sunny days that will keep me relatively cool and prevent sunburn. Unlike most of the other brands, the Guy Harvey shirts come out of the dryer with minimal wrinkles, fit well without being too baggy around the waist, and look stylish. Unless you're actually going to wear these shirts for fishing and need all of the pockets for your fishing gear, I would recommend one (or several in different colors) of these shirts by Guy Harvey instead.
