Self-Centered Hex-Logic Medium Life Polishing Pad, Grey
Grey Medium -Light Polishing Pad -Less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so its perfect for pre-wax cleaners. It is the most well used pad as it is ideal for application of pre-wax cleansers as well as many finishing polishes such as Pro-Polish or FP-Final Polish.

Good pad, but how it is designed to attach to the polisher pad is not good. Only has Velcro in a small portion of the center of the pad, so when it is attached, it causes a BOW in the pad, not flat as it should be. Needs to have Velcro on the complete bottom of the pad, or at least around the outer edges too.

Perfecto... único detalle a tomar en cuenta el respaldo no es plano sólo le queda bien ah no más de 5 pulgadas y media (14.5 cm)

Muy buen producto. Excelente y rápido para eliminar rayones con el pulidor y técnica adecuados. Hay que cuidar que se mantenga fresco y lubricado para trabaje correctamente.

I am a professional detailer. For a long time I used meguiars solo diamond pads with their flexible backing plate. I love the smaller pads and flex plates for final finish work, with the exception of 3m perfect it fine pads occasionally for larger flat panels. The smaller design allows you to maneuver around side mirrors and into trunk deck contours much easier. When they discontinued the solo diamond pads it reduced my selection for this size pad. I love the design of this pad, the foam rolls over the edge of the plate which I think is critical to avoid burns in tight areas where a plate making contact can burn paint on thin areas quickly. But it has a plastic ring incorporated around the hook and loop area which makes lining up almost instantaneous, very helpful when switching back and forth between a cutting pad and finish pad while using the same backing plate. The design on the pad and the small cell foam hold product really well, primes up quickly and does not dust up. I've used them twice now and got excellent results, especially on black using meguiars #205. I only hope that they hold up. You'd never think there could be such a huge difference in foam quality between manufacturers but there is. My off brand pads have chunks gone everywhere with very little use. If these are half as durable as the meguiars diamond foam pads were, I'll buy again.

I really like Chemical Guys products. For these pads, they found a great balance of density and durability. After using these on three different cars, they show signs of use, but not really signs of wear (pitting or ripping). I like how much product they hold - not too little, not too much, just the right amount - and the textures are fine tuned for their intended use. For instance, polishing pads are more coarse and firm compared to a glazing pad or a waxing pad. The hook and loop backs work with a variety of tools, which adds versatility.When they wear out, I'll buy the same pads as replacements.

I purchased these hex logic self centered cutting pads and they didn't even last 1 car. I purchased two of them and they shredded like hot butter. I was told to purchase the regular pads without the self centered plastic so I did. Hope those last significantly longer.
