I ordered the 4" Black Obsidian Dog Animals Figurines, Handmade Crystal Schnauzer Dog Statue, Pet Dogs Memorial Sympathy Gfts for Loss of Dog, Home Decor Accents for Living Room Office Desk (Black Obsidian), and I'm happy with it. The particular Stone I ordered is obsidian which is a stone that was once lava and is now hardened with time. These types are similar to what people call orgonite as they are in resin. This one is a lot bigger than the typical sizes I've ordered as those were mainly half the size. This seems to be well made, but you can tell some of the stones didn't want to settle in one area of the leg which is fine, because it gave off a neat effect on mine that it's hard to describe. This would be great for people that have dogs that look like this, are animal lovers, collect things similar, or a memorial gift. I like to work with different power animals, so I collect carved stones or art like this, thank you.

This little guy looks more to me like a Scottish Terrier than a Schnauzer, but it doesn’t really matter because I think it’s just adorable. It’s made of resin with a core of black obsidian, which is believed by some to be a healing crystal, although scientists say it’s actually not a crystal, but is actually an igneous rock formed by volcanic lava. I ordered mine just to use as a decoration because I love dogs, but I respect the beliefs of others who choose to use theirs as an instrument of healing. The dog is beautifully hand-carved and more detailed than similar dog statues of this type I have seen elsewhere. It’s a nice size at 4 inches high, neither too large nor too small. The current price of the dog is $19.95,, which I believe to be very reasonable.
