Ribbon has a quality thickness and sheen on both sides. The best part is the quantity you receive with this purchase. Nicely placed on the spool and it is a continuous piece of ribbon. No short pieces...yet and I have used a lot of it. Very pleased with this purchase.

While this ribbon has a rougher weave than much of the satin ribbon I use, with the individual threads visible, the price must be considered. This is 100 yards of ribbon for under $10; you can't expect it to be the same quality that Chanel ties around their packages. I like the 5/8” size; it looks similar to 1/4” but just that much more robust and substantial feeling. I wrap a lot of gifts and I’m surprised at how much black ribbon I use; it looks fantastic against matte red paper.
