This connector is well made and seems like it will last the life of the machine. I would buy again.

Works great but you will have to solder the wires in but that is the best way to do it

I was able to solder on the connectors at the back side, used it a few times , so far so good. No complaints yet. Click lock and good to go.

I have a brand name work light that can run on either 18V battery or 110v cord that was attached to the work light. The cord was too long for the built in cord hangers and super annoying, because cord never stayed wound up and on the light, always dragging and getting in the way when using the light with a battery. It's a great little light, but I have hardly used it due to the issue with the cord.Cord got hung up on something the other day, and I had had enough. Cut the cord off right then, snip and tape it up.But then I had second thoughts about it, what if I wanted to use it with 110v, and found this connector on AMZ.It took some work with a Dremel and soldering iron. But now the chassis plug is permanently attached, to the light, sealed waterproof connection. The cord now stays in the toolbox, unless needed.I would name the brand, but then their "legal department" might get their panties in a bunch, since they don't appreciate customer feedback!

Solder points are much too small to use for trolling motors. 14-16 Gauge wire max will fit in these. Most trolling motors have 8 gauge wire. Other than that, the unit is perfect.
