The CoguZed 3 Pack Flush Valve Seal is a lifesaver for my Kohler toilets! These high-quality silicone seals are easy to install and stop leaks instantly, saving me both time and money. With three in a pack, I have extras for future use, and they’re working just as well as the expensive OEM versions.

Considering that these seals work perfectly, they are a great value. I had a Kohler toilet that had a slow leak in the tank due to an aging seal, so I replaced this and was able to leave the tank untouched for a month, with the water turned off in order to test the seal. Upon my return, the water level had not fallen at all. This seal really works. And the replacement was quick and easy. This seal fit the flush valve perfectly, just like the original. And this pack of 3 costs less than what a single OEM seal costs, so I have extra for the other toilets when they begin to leak. I am totally impressed and satisfied with these replacement seals.

Our expensive Kohler toilets (4) have the most outrageously poorly designed flush units resulting in us needing to replace these seals ridiculously often. It does not matter whether we buy OEM or generic, they only last a few months. Kohler claims it is due to the chlorine level in our city water system. Finding inexpensive seals has proven to be the best solution. These seals are a very inexpensive option and are performing just as well as the OEM.

Granted I switched to the Kohler flush valve 15 years ago, so maybe the replacement gaskets from Kohler are also silicone, but if not these are an upgrade for sure.As for ease of install, I couldn't twist the central pillar out on my valve; it started making cracking sounds, so instead I did the following:1. turn off the water to the toilet and drain the tank by flushing it.2. remove the overflow tube3. disconnect the chain from the flush lever4. pull the old gasket free and stretch it out a bit so that it can be slid up the walls of the flush valve cylinder.5. installation of the new gasket is the reverse operation. It will easily slip into the channel on the underside of the flush valve cylinder.6. check the valve for a good seal by turning the water back on and listening for a trickle after it has filled.I couldn't be happier with the results.
