And I don't regret it. I needed some new hiking shoes very quickly so this was a spur of the moment buy. They fit perfectly and were great for a 10 mile hike in the Grand Tetons!

This is my first time buying Columbia shoes. I usually go with Reebok, but am glad I gave these a try. I have medium-to-low arches, and these are the most comfortable sneakers I've had in years! They appear solidly built, and their soles have superb tread for the outdoors. My only suggestions for improvement are replacing the mesh tops with solid tops to keep feet dry in the rain, and that the round laces hate staying tied. I used a permanent rosette knot to keep them tied and now just slip them on and off. I think I'm a Columbia buyer for life now.

Bought this for a vacation in a city that also has many hiking trails. Walked 40 miles through the week very comfortably. Still wearing them 8 months later walking every day
