Comfortable on first wear. The color is so attractive and holds up. Sizing is right on, fit is comfortable. Toe box is roomy enough for a thick sock without feeling bunched or tight. Great grip in winter weather and waterproof. Price is right.

Love the colors and comfortability. Bought these for a vacation in Arizona, and they held up well in the Grand Canyon. I am a true size 8 typically but I had to order a half size up to fit my hiking socks.

I bought these specifically for a backpacking trip that, while only 38 miles, had varied terrain from very soft and shifty sand to near vertical (though very brief) climbs up rock and steep, rooty hills. My regular day-hike shoes just weren't recommended. I wore these for a few days at work (I'm a custodian so lots of walking and wet floors) and they were comfortable from the get go, so I didn't worry much about blisters while backpacking. I did end up getting one mondo blister, but I think that was more from the limp I ended up with after a few big trips over roots the first day (lol and ow). My very-experienced backpacking partner offered to carry my shoes one day when I switched over to my 'in camp' shoes hoping to relieve some of the blister pressure, and she was shocked at how light my boot was when I passed it over to her (she is not *quite* and ultra-lite backpacker, but very close, so she's very picky about the weight of things. I switched back to my boots within a mile though, because they did not let sand in whereas my other shoes did.Overall, I'm extremely happy with these and looking forward to many more hikes in the future!

The boots are very sturdy and are decently heavy. I was worried that these would make my feet feel tired after a long day or walking/hiking because they're heavier than normal shoes, but my feet didn't hurt at all even after doing a lot of moving over a three day span. The colors are super nice. I can't wait to wear these again. I love them! Great value for the cost I got them for. They had good grip on my hiking.
