I’m very impressed with these snow pants. First of all, I’m thrilled that that my son will be able to wear them more than one season. I got size small for him. The tag reads S (8). My son is a slim 7 year old of average height. These pants fit him great now and they will fit him great next winter too. This is all thanks to the adjustable waist and the internal pant grow system. Right now my son needs the waistband at the tightest setting. This is easily achieved thanks to the adjustable velcro waistband feature. The pants are a little long on him now with regular shoes on but with his winter boots they fit just great. And once he grows I’ll be able to extend the length of the pants by simply turning the pants inside out, pulling a string, and extending the cuffs.The pants are warm but they are not heavy and they don’t restrict movement. They are waterproof and they will keep my son warm and dry through many hours of winter activities in the snow. He can’t wait for the winter to get here so he can enjoy the outdoors and winter sports in these awesome snow pants.

The sizing is spot on, but i would say they are more for a skinnier leg especially if wearing other clothes. They fit perfectly around it waist as well as the length. They are Columbia so they are very good quality. These are lined to keep your under clothes from getting wet from snow melt. It hasn't slowed hear yet so haven't been able to test them in regards to if they stop the water from penetrative to other clothes but they definitely keep my sons legs warm.
