I got these shoes for my wife as a replacement for some older hiking shoes she had. These are very lightweight shoes but seem rugged and agile. The mid-top design allows for more support in the ankle for those harder hikes but they still flex and breathe for lighter hikes. She loves how comfortable they are but if we had one complaint it would be the color. These will show dirt very easily, but they are hiking shoes so the dirtier the better.

So far very comfortable hiking shoe! Soft, great cushion, and while I haven't yet used it for more than a basic walk, I believe this will wear well for a longer hike. Typically a size 9, but 9.5 fits great with thicker sock. This hiking shoe feels more like a running shoe than my Sorel boots. Nice mid-ankle support and color is attractive. I haven't worn it in cold weather yet, but I believe these boots will work well for Midwest winters.
